Moreover, when downtown gets really hot is Summer, the northern part of the city is refreshed by a nice breeze coming from nearby mountain PENTELIS. There are no other cheap hotels or budget accommodation that would allow you to live in this area.
MAROYSSI is a very safe and clean residential area, where a large part of Athens citizens live, easily catching public transport every day to reach their jobs downtown. Nearby there is a beautiful park (with a playground), supermarkets are 10 minutes on foot, banks (ATM) and other facilities are available nearby... and George the baker is right across the street for your munchies!
