I stayed at hostel Sorrento for 3 days in total and I have to say, it made a welcome break from the usual hostel experience. The hostel is so layed back, the owner Giovanni will do anything for you....he even took me on his moped to the station when i was late for my train!

If you want to experience staying in a small town with a laid back atmosphere, yet still within easy reach of sorrento and the Amalfi coast, Try this place. It has a huge garden also and the owner could not be more friendly....

I stayed in this Hostel for one night during a recent trip to Italy. We were scheduled to stay for two nights however after finally finding this we decided to leave after one night. It is not anywhere near Sorrento and the 15 min walk to town is much longer and scarier than that. There are no sidewalks and very scary streets to walk down. Plus with the way they wind around you are bound to get lost at least once on your walk. There was no mention of the pool when we checked in or any of other busses or ways to town as listed on this site. The hostel was clean and the rooms pleasant. The shower was cold also. There is a rooster that crows early in the morning.
