I had a very relaxing stay while I spent a couple of days exploring the backwaters using the local ferries. There is a lovely upstairs verandah to enjoy your breakfast.

We stayed at Ashtamudi for three night,and really enjoyed it. The staff was exceptional,very friendly and accomidating, they went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the food there was good. They had a great little common area that gave us a chance to talk with other travellers,which was nice. They also arrange houseboat.
