Het hotel Neos Olympos is me zeer goed bevallen doordat het er schoon is, het personeel vriendelijk, de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding zeer goed. Vlakbij trein/metro-station en vrije toegang op internet. Bovendien is het echt de moeite om het pleintje er schuin achter te bezoeken waar je heerlijk kunt eten tussen de grieken. Zeer bijzonder vond ik het bijwonen van een byzantijnse mis in de kerk op het pleintje. Met respect betreden uiteraard !!

Very conveniently located 5 mintue walk to both Metaxourgio and Larissa Stations. On main road so taxis easily flagged and buses easy to catch. Nice hotel interior design and bathrooms on each level. Internet access both wifi and in house computers was very handy.

Very old building and room's furniture. Located a little bit away from historic city center. Check other possibilities if you're moving by the Akropoli and archaelogical sites.

Para empezar, el hotel está en uno de los barrios menos recomendables de Atenas, según las guias de viaje, aunque nosotros no tuvimos ningún problema. El trato fue amable, pero lo que quiero destacar es la falta de limpieza. Las habitaciones son bastante cutres y en general sucias. Estuvimos primero 5 noches en la habitacion doble con baño propio, la cual está en un cuarto piso sin ascensor y en verano es un cocedero. Luego pasamos otra noche en una habitacion sin baño (segun nos dijeron, porque la otra habia tenido una fuga de agua). Los baños comunes son agujeros sin ventilación en los que yo no me atreví a ducharme.
En resumen, nada recomendable
