Bogota to Taganga and all in between ... very cold at night... little water and cold for shower... breakfast was decent and staff would accommodate little requests. The place is nice...
value for money is about the same in all hostels but, very poor compared to other countries. I am from Canada ...

Description - Hostel

Hostal Fátima combines great decor in a setting that makes the house friendly and unforgettable.

Fatima is a place for multicultural encounters. It is a house that is more than 150 years old. With its beautiful colonial architecture it's a place where you can feel how the families of the nineteenth century used to live. Everything is adapted to a contemporary ambience; wood floors, stained glass windows, a central water fountain, a solarium with satellite television and a DVD player, a computer room complete with WI-FI service, a sauna, Jacuzzi. Also included on property is a room with international music where all our guests get related around a warm fireplace.

Something important to know when you arrive to Bogotá is that at the terminal and Airport you can find a window of the taxis services where they give you a ticket with the fare when you say where are you going to. Explain there that the Hostel is in the - Candelaria centro - neighborhood.
Remember, the address is Calle 14 No. 2-24 (14th street number 2-24) and that in Bogotá streets are numbered higher from south to north in the North part and from north to south in the South, The carreras also most of the Avenues grow in number from east (the mountains) to west.
To get to Hostal Fatima by bus or buseta you take the one that says Germania on the sign and get down at 19th street with carrera tercera. That is the same place where the trasmilenio´s Las aguas station is.
